About Me
I am a first-year Ph.D. student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), advised by Prof. Jiaqi Ma. My research interests lie in machine learning and data-centric artificial intelligence (AI). Recently, my research focuses on data attribution methods and their applications to large language models (LLMs). In particular, I am interested in: 1) understanding how training data influence model training and 2) improving the data-efficiency and trustworthiness of LLMs.
Before my Ph.D. journey, I received my B.S.E. in Data Science from the University of Michigan and B.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jiaqi Ma, Todd Hollon and Qiaozhu Mei.
